Jimmy Hutchinson approaches real estate with an athlete’s mindset. A former SEC Champion football player at Auburn University, he lives by the mantra “opportunities don’t happen, you create them”—a quote from entrepreneur Chris Grosser. A resident of Brookhaven, Jimmy specializes in north Atlanta neighborhoods anywhere from Buckhead to Buford, though he’ll frequent any section of the city where his clients have interests—often with his 6-year-old Goldendoodle at his side.
Outside the office, you’ll often find him at a restaurant or brewery. He’s a foodie, with plenty of recommendations within Atlanta’s dining scene that he loves to share. While still a sports guy— these days he’s more often playing a round of golf with friends rather than punting a football.
Jimmy is a firm believer that hard work, preparation and determination earns results. It’s made him a top producer in the Atlanta market, handling $60 million in sales over the course of the last four years. Most recently, he was recognized as Top 5% in both sales volume and units at the Atlanta REALTORS Association Top Producer Gala earlier this year.
Experienced at working in the high-volume, fast-paced world of investment real estate and handling international clients, institutional investors and more, he brings a well-honed investor’s eye to his residential buyers and sellers. He’s tuned in to everything from the most desirable property features to a home’s positioning within a neighborhood that will make it most likely to appreciate in value. And as a lifelong Atlantan raised in Marietta, his intimate knowledge of the city and array of contacts are key assets for his clients.
A self-described “people-person,” he’s dedicated to guiding, educating and advocating for his clients, striving for seamless transactions and satisfying experiences.
Jimmy works with both single- and multi-family properties in the greater Atlanta region that are both on and off-market. Having worked with many client types from hedge funds to residential buyers and sellers, Jimmy brings a ton of investment experience and perspective to all deals he closes. Jimmy helped Fractional clients close on 43 properties in 2021. He has been able to use Fractional’s investment tools to quickly ramp up clients on how to analyze deals and think through real estate investments. Our platform allows clients to easily form partnerships to purchase and close on capital-intensive projects. Fractional handles all of the legal, administrative, and accounting legwork so Jimmy could focus on mentoring his clients and providing local investing expertise for each investment project.
